  1. I was born in Louisiana, but I grew up in New Mexico.
  2. I have a Master of Arts degree in Education.
  3. I graduated from the University of New Mexico.

  4. I lived in Guatemala, Central America for 20 years.
  5. I have taught Middle School English for 23 years.
  6. I’ve been married for 23 years.
  7. I have three boys, Matthew, Jack and Michael and a sweet German Shepard, Bella.
  8. I have an older brother and sister who live in Louisiana.

  9. Some of my favorite trips have been: New York City, Paris, Panama, El Salvador, Portland, Seattle, New Orleans, the Grand Canyon, Disneyworld, and Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta.
  10. In the future, I hope to travel to Washington, D.C. and New York City with my family. I’d also like to visit San Diego, Hawaii and England.
  11. If I could spend a whole day somewhere, I would choose a library full of books or a Barnes and Noble.
  12. I love to take photographs.

  14. Coffee is my beverage of choice and Dr. Pepper is a close second.
  15. I studied French for 8 years.
  16. I’ve played piano since I was seven years old.
  17. I love playing on social media such as Instagram (follow my class: mrshildebrand) and Snapchat.
  18. My favorite television show is “The Office.”
  19. My favorite movies are from the 80’s John Hugh’s collection: Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. I also love all the Back to the Future movies.
  20. I detest horror movies, especially those with lots of blood.
  21. I didn’t like to read until the sixth grade.
  22. It’s almost impossible to pick a favorite book, because I love so many. Some of my favorite young adult books are The Outsiders, any book by Lois Duncan and Harry Potter series.
  23. I studied Political Science and Communications in undergraduate school. I wanted to be either a CIA agent, United Nations translator or International lawyer.
  24. Before studying politics, I wanted to be a music therapist. Music is very important to me and I believe it can affect ones mind and mood tremendously.
